Finding the right position seems like an impossible problem! We created this resume for a teacher making the transition from a private academy to a large-public school system. Teachers, pastors/ministers, and government workers usually have traditional, Chronological resumes. The format is somewhat restrictive, but is the gold standard in these industries. |

'For most people, a resume is just one component of their personal marketing package. A cover letter and references now flank the resume, providing supporting documentation and context. This package (left and below) was designed for a young woman who was finishing her schooling to become a registered nurse. With a strong military background, as well as a stellar GPA, she was already a great candidate. |

Our challenge was to help her get the job she wanted in the Labor & Delivery unit of a large medical center. Despite a nursing shortage in every other department of the hospital, competition for this job was fierce! Working as a team with this client, we helped her get her dream job after only one interview! |

| It's normal to have more than one skill group. Despite that, it's very difficult to showcase two equally strong skill sets in the same resume. This client had long-term experience in purchasing, but had recently completed in-depth schooling in property management. He was able to use the same resume to find rewarding (and lucrative) positions in both fields. |  |
